Mediteen is our Monthly Mindful Meet-up for Teens. At Lifestyle Meditation, we believe with the right tools and proper support, teens will become more easily empowered to nurture their own wellbeing, as well as the overall wellbeing of others.
Friday, January 12 is Movie Night! We will be watching The “HAPPY” Movie, a documentary by Roko Belic. Taking us from the bayous of Louisiana to the deserts of Namibia, from the beaches of Brazil to the villages of Okinawa, HAPPY explores the secrets behind our most valued emotion.
Does money make you happy? Kids and family? Your work? Do you live in a world that values and promotes happiness and well-being? Are we in the midst of a happiness revolution?
Popcorn and movie snacks will be provided. After the film we will engage in discussing these questions. We’ll also ask ourselves what are our unique talents and gifts? What lights us up with happiness and excitement that we can share with the world to make it a brighter place? Through the practice of meditation we ask ourselves “Who Am I?” and through this process we increase our self awareness – bringing more compassion into our relationship with ourselves, our Earth, and others.
