Share the Love on February 14 as we Flow & Let Go with Angie and Joe.
This Valentine’s Day, join Angie and Joe as they team up for a night of heart opening bliss as you fall more deeply in love with the muscles of your body. This two hour workshop will start with Angie’s flow inspired sequence to help open the heart and assist in releasing old, stored emotions. We will then take it down to the floor for the Yin portion, led by Joe, which will be an intimate and passive practice with long holds and focus on the breath.
Once you are zenned out we will end the night off in the Lifestyle Meditation lounge area with Love Pizza and Wine! (BYOW).
Angie is a local teacher in Edmonton and has been practicing for over 10 years. Her teaching style has flourished from a long history of dance and movement with a heavy focus on breath. Angie likes to keep her classes laid back, honest and playful. You can expect to hear sexy music, hopefully a joke or two, and leave feeling lighter.
About Joe: Yoga and Football are two passions that allow me to give back to the community that supports me. After 30+ years of playing, coaching and managing at many different levels from minor football to the CFL, and having worked in business operations with the Edmonton Eskimos, I feel the connection between these two communities. Instructing yoga to the Eskimos, UofA Golden bears, Jr football clubs, hockey schools and other various sports, engages me in building bridges and inspiring positive living through creating mind-body awareness.
