UpcomingWinter Solstice with Mandy Trapp

    December 21, 2017
    7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

As the days become shorter and the darkness stays much longer, we often feel the desire to turn inward during the winter months, becoming quiet and introspective. We desire the coziness of our homes and sleeping in much longer. And yet, there is another side to winter that meets our intuitive desires with deep contrast – a shop til’ we drop, eat and drink more than necessary and rush around over-crowded slippery streets. No matter what your religious or cultural heritage, if you live in North America, chances are you too, are caught up in the commercial swirl known as “the holidays”- leaving us feeling over-spent and utterly exhausted.

With some preparation and awareness, we can plant the seeds for a more intuitive, simpler, and peaceful holiday season. Winter Solstice can be a profound time to tap into the magic and the beauty of the season. For many cultures throughout the ages, Solstice has been a significant time of ritual, reflection, release and renewal.

Join us for a beautiful evening of candle-lit meditation and live acoustic holiday music. Tune into the stillness of the night and back into the collective Christmas spirit.
